That Good Health is the best New Zealand magazine I’ve seen in a while.

Well I guess my strong interest in this magazine is partly due to a recent health-kick of mine, and long obsession with scales; but even without that in mind, I still think that this magazine is just the bees knees :)

Edited by Shelley Ferguson (Cleo editor) with contributions from Pamela marker (ex. Girlfriend magazine) and other feature writers, this mag is just what you need to lift your spirits and get you into the gym after work. The short clip-it style writing is easy to read and the information given is one all different things (health-related) so it always feels like you’re reading and learning something new.

The graphics and design are eye-catching and make you want to read on – I think this may have been where New Zealand Women’s Health Magazine lost its mojo. Although that magazine was also pretty awesome – the covers, text and imagery was somewhat repetitive.

Anyway I just thought I’d share this as I’m reading it at the moment and rather enjoying it :)

thought #2

that a new coat of polish can make even the gloomiest of days, seem wonderful.

As a typical girl – I find great joy in coating my nails in bright, bubbly and clearly unnatural colours of nail polish.

This simple task can make even the worst days seem a little better, and gives us all a bit of the much needed ‘me time’.

I love all sorts of nail colours and use all kinds of brands – even though the beauticians at my local beauty bar, growl me every time I go in with a budget brand of polish on – I can’t help it. If the colours cool, than I’m keen on it, and so long as I use a decent undercoat, I don’t think the cheap polishes could be doing me that much harm…

At the moment I’m particularly loving mint green polishes – perfect for the summer months ahead, they look lovely as I type away on my keyboard too ;)

I think that blogs are amazing.

I can reveal my thoughts to the world, and hopefully find some like-minded people to gossip and pow-wow with. There are no limits or rules, (I don’t think) just somewhere for me to speak freely and offer my opinions.

I’m rather excited.
