Monday 30th August is going to be a very special day in New Zealand
Not just because I love animals and am amped to help them out, but also because it’s a day to divulge in sweet, sugary, creamy cupcakes! And lucky for me, Icing on the Cake (Ponsonby’s prestigious cupcake shop) is a just a hop, skip and a jump down the road for me!
Anyway I’m baking some cupcakes this weekend so I can participate in this day and I got a wee bit excited about cupcake ideas! The SPCA and day sponsors encourage you to do cupcakes, kind of ‘animal decorated’ and although I think that’s cute – it’s far too tricky for me and I prefer just making pretty pastel coloured ones anyway J
Anyway if you’re in NZ and happen to see some new cupcake stall popping up around town on Monday, spend a couple bucks and get youself one – its for such a terrific cause!!
